Len's Light:

After Andy and Lynda Eadon tragically lost their son Len to suicide, the couple set up Len’s Light in his memory, helping to raise awareness around the mental health issues faced by the rural community.

Len’s parents have worked tirelessly raising funds, and as of October 2024 they have raised over £222,000 for mental health charities including the Farming Community Network, Yellow Wellies, and Papyrus.

Farm for City Children:

Farms for City Children is a charity that offers immersive farm residentials for children and young people between the ages of eight and 19. For today’s children who are more disconnected from the countryside, nature and the source of the food they eat, spending time on the farms is about educating, helping children discover nature and the opportunity to reconnect with classmates and teachers.

Since the charity was founded in 1976 more than 100,000 children have been to one of the Farms for City Children farms.

The Royal Countryside Fund:

The Royal Countryside Fund provides support for rural communities and farming families living with immense uncertainty amid the relentless pace and scale of economic, climate and societal change. With policy changes, weather woes, international trade uncertainty and disease threats, supporting rural communities has never been more important.

The Royal Countryside Fund’s strategy sets out clear targets for over the next three years – extending their reach to support 10,000 family farms and increasing their help to rural communities to become more self-sufficient and viable.
