Farmers Guardian, which is marking its 180th anniversary this year, has launched the campaign, 'Save Britain's Family Farms' to showcase what family farms deliver for the nation.

It hopes to start a national conversation about the wider benefits farming brings to society, from producing healthy, nutrient dense food to being custodians of the countryside, protecting our much-loved and used landscapes, caring for the environment and wildlife, creating jobs and sustaining rural communities which form the rich tapestry of our beloved countryside.

The campaign supports the NFU's call on the Government to raise the threshold on the value of assets in which inheritance tax applies, and Farmers Guardian will stand alongside the community in the NFU's demonstration to be held in central London on November 19.
