Today, August 7, marks 10 years of Farmers Guardian's prestigious campaign, 24 Hours in Farming, agriculture's biggest digital event connecting consumers to their food.

With 12 farming ambassadors to help spread farming's message, we need everyone to take part, from farmers to vets, to lawyers and MPs, to showcase what really happens in agriculture in a 24-hour period.

This year's theme is all about building a healthy nation on British food, and for the first time ever we have a brand-new chef ambassador, Michelin star chef Tom Aikens, who is keen to showcase the important of provenance and encourage the country to get cooking again.

Public connection

Sponsored by Morrisons, this year you will also find the 24 Hours in Farming logo on the supermarket's Chuckle Egg range, and if you are in a Morrisons store today, you can hear all about the campaign on Morrisons radio, and a feature from #farm24 ambassador Amy Wilkinson.

This is your time to unite as an industry and we want you to take to social media and share your story. No matter your background or how you are involved in farming, having your say is important.

Use the hashtag #farm24, tag Farmers Guardian and tag Morrisons so we can share the best stories and pictures.
