#Farm24 Ambassador: Chris Myers

Chris is a highly accomplished content creator who has found his niche in the agricultural industry. His interest in farming developed during his teenage years while visiting and helping out with lambing on the Wellocks family farm near Gargrave in the Yorkshire Dales.

Chris's career however began in IT and e-commerce and spanned over two decades, encompassing senior roles within large corporations. Eventually, he found himself grappling with stress and mental health issues. Consequently, he made the decision to break from the corporate world, assuming the role of "Daddy Day Care" for his one-year-old son.

Chris and his son embarked on outings to local farms in Nottinghamshire, immersing themselves in the farming industry and capturing photographs and videos, which he shared on social media platforms. Encouraged by the positive reception of his content, Chris, as his son began attending school, ventured to establish his own business, eager to explore the potential of his passion for showcasing British farming activities.

Now, after nine years, Simply Agri by Pro Horizon boasts an impressive following of over 4 million people and over 2.5 billion video views. Beyond the numbers, Chris derives immense joy from his work and takes great pride in serving as an ambassador for British farming, actively promoting and supporting the industry that has captured his heart.
