100% British ketchup to be stocked in Jeremy Clarkson's pub

The artisan condiment company behind the creation of a 100% British sourced ketchup has declared victory in its bid to provide a ketchup for Jeremy Clarkson's pub.

In the latest season of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime Video, Mr Clarkson and co are shown opening his pub, with the mission of selling only produce which is 100% grown in Britain.

While Mr Clarkson has been applauded for his efforts to support British farmers, it has led to some challenges with ingredients, including no coca cola, no coffee and no ketchup.

However, Condimaniac took up the challenge to create a 100% British ketchup and then aimed to get it stocked at the Farmer's Dog.

After succeeding in creating the ketchup, the team travelled down to the pub to meet with the team.

Members of the public also tasted the ketchup for themselves at the pub, with rave reviews for the sauce.

"That is amazing, I am not having Heinz again that is for sure," one said.

On Instagram, co-founder Kier Kemp said he was really impressed by the pub.

"It is not just a gimmick for them they do really live and breathe this 100% British thing," he said.

After tasting the ketchup, the team said they would like to sell the ketchup in the on-site butcher and at the Farmers Puppy, the ‘small but mighty version of the pub in a tent' so that people can ‘buy a bottle, smother the buns and take it home'.

Mr Kemp also added it was one of the ‘best wholesale clients I have ever dealt with'.

"The team there, the Diddly Squat farm shop that's on site and the pub, everyone I have met is super lovely," he said.

"I am glad that I can report they are actually nice people. It is not always like that."

The 100% British ketchup is now also available to purchase via its website, although was already listed as ‘sold out'.
