24 Hours in Farming is back and better than ever, celebrating its 10-year anniversary of championing British farming to the public.
As British farmers navigate a tumultuous time in the industry, with challenges arising from global trade deals, changing agricultural policies, and variable weather, it is more important than ever to support UK farming.
At the heart of this message are the first four of this year's 12 ambassadors for #farm24: Nigel Owens, Coco Jalloh, Frank Carr and Amy Wilkinson.
Nigel Owens
Nigel Owens MBE began refereeing at 16 and went on to become one of rugby's most respected officials, making history as the first to referee 100 test matches.
After a distinguished career that included four Rugby World Cups and numerous major finals, he retired from officiating and returned to his lifelong passion—farming.
Nigel now runs a 90-acre farm in West Wales, with an additional 50 acres rented, where he keeps around 75 pedigree Hereford cattle.
Farming has been a dream of his since childhood, having worked on a dairy farm after leaving school.
