One of the world's most famous celebrities made a surprise visit to Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm over the weekend to meet a star in his own right.

The former Top Gear presenter turned farmer posted a picture on his Instagram account yesterday evening of David Beckham alongside the loveable Gerald Cooper from ‘Clarkson's Farm'.

Mr Beckham, a former Manchester United and Real Madrid footballer, was pictured grinning alongside Mr Cooper, in the series on Sunday in the Cotswolds where the farm is located.

In the post, which now has over 550,000 likes, Mr Clarkson said: ‘Gerald. And another man' in reference to the England international who made 115 appearances for his country.

Mr Cooper has become a familiar face to an extraordinary following of fans who have come to love and appreciate Mr Clarkson and his support for the farmers in the industry.

He has worked on Diddly Squat Farm for over 50 years and has helped the ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' host to make a success of the farm alongside Kaleb Cooper.

‘Clarkson's Farm' will return for a third series at a yet unknown date.
