The high cost of chemical fertiliser has seen a recent increase in muck spreader sales, as some UK farmer’s consider livestock manures as an alternative to traditional springtime fertiliser applications. Simon Henley discusses the increasing popularity of manure top-dressing with two well-established contractors.
