Harestone Jagerbomb
The sale leader was Harestone Jagerbomb, a ram lamb by 55,000ns Auldhouseburn Illusion out of a dam by Lylehill GTR from Stuart Barclay, Insch, which sold to Charlie Boden and family, Stockport, for the Sportsmans and Mellor Vale flocks.
Next at 28,000gns was Ettrick JFK from Gordon Gray, Selkirk. By Sadlerhead Fury out of a dam by Midcombe Brigadier, it sold with a top 25% index to Thomas Ayrton, Ayrtons flock, Lancaster, and Alan Clark, Garngour flock, Lesmahagow, having been in the first prize pen of three in the pre-sale show.
Then came a brace at 26,000gns, the first of which was Auldhouseburn Jings from Alan Blackwood, Muirkirk. By 110,000gns Midlock Inferno, out of an Auldhouseburn Fancy Pants daughter, it was the pick of Allan and Susan Campbell for the Drymsinie flock, Lochgoilhead, with a half share retained by the bre
The other at this price was Knap Jumping Jack Flash from Robert Cockburn, Crieff. The son of Duncryne Hakuna Matata out of a dam by 100,000gns Knap General Lee was knocked down in a two-way split to Robbie Wilson, Turriff, and Kevin Crawford, Alford, both Aberdeenshire.
Next best at 22,000gns from Jack Arnott and family, Kelso, was Haymount Jumanji by Rue Wood Indiana which sold to James Theyer, Clanfield, Oxfordshire, and Archie and Harry Stamp, Bowbridge, Somerset.
Close behind at 20,000gns was the champion from the pre-sale show, Garngour Jackal from Alan Clark and family. The son of Ayrton's Icon sold with with a top 5% index to Messrs Barclay, and Kenny Pratt, Aberdeen.
Two then followed at 12,000gns, with the first of these coming from Messrs Cockburn in the form of Knap Jazz It Up by Harestone Incredible Hulk which sold to Messrs Blackwood.
The other taking a 12,000gns call was Tillycairn Jackpot from David McKerrow Jnr, Ellon. The son of 65,000gns Auldhouseburn Imperial King went to John Sherratt, Shropshire.
Females
A select entry of females topped at 2,500gns for a ewe lamb from the MacPherson family's Hexel flock, Berwick upon Tweed. By Hexel Inter Milan out of a dam by Ballynahone Franco, it sold to John MacKenzie, Saddel Glen.
