Farmers Guardian Harvest Podcast

As the cereal harvest draws to a close in some areas of the UK this week's Farmers Guardian podcast takes a moment to pause, reflect and look at some of the highs and lows so far.

With that, we invite Leicestershire-based mixed farmer Will Oliver to join us to discuss how harvest has been this year and what his plans are for the next season.

LISTEN NOW:

We also touch upon Will's shortlisting for this year's British Farming Awards and the importance of promoting the industry in challenging times, alongside the need to inspire young individuals in the industry with the NFU's Cereals Development Program.

Moving away from harvest, we discuss the possibilities of extending the wheat establishment window with new varieties and look forward to planning for the next season.
