Inter-breed beef and continental champion, Woodline Pollyanna, from Harvey Wood, Hull.
Claiming the beef inter-breed title after winning continental championship was the six-year-old Charolais cow, Woodline Pollyanna bred and shown by Harvey Wood, Hull. The daughter of Wansford Magnus out of Woodline Holly, is due to calf to Gower Javelin in July. It was reserve inter-breed at the show in 2023 and will head to the Great Yorkshire Show next.
Standing reserve overall and native champion was the two-year-old Lincoln Red bull, Brackenhurst Commander from Nottingham Trent University, shown by farm manager, Neil Hodgson. The son of Premier Young Gun was also native champion at Nottinghamshire Show, its only other outing.

Judge, Stephen Priestley, Brampton, said the Charolais cows was ‘outstanding with great ring presence, a good head and top line and carried herself perfectly, although the Lincoln Red bull was a great young bull with a good future ahead of him.'

Classified EX92 and currently producing 70kg daily after calving in February, it was also dairy supreme at Suffolk Show.

Judge, David Booth, Fiezor said: "The champion is really great example of the breed and grabbed my attention as soon as it came into the ring. It is so balanced in every way and walks well on great feet and legs and just had extra strength through the top and rump structure giving it the advantage over the Jersey."
