Aberdeen-Angus bull sells for £65,000 online

The inaugural HW Netherton online Aberdeen-Angus bull sale hosted by Harrison and Hetherington on behalf of HW Angus, Dunblane, topped at £65,000 setting a new breed record

The sale leader was Netherton Eclipse Z036, a June 2023-born embryo son of  SAV Territory 7225 and SAV Emblynette 9811 which sold to Messrs Lowes and Sons, Richmond.

Next at £9,800 was Barningham Equaliser Z658, a July 2023-born bull by HW Mr Equilibrium 202 out of HW Erica Floss W210 which went to Messrs Mills, Llandrindod Wells.

Messrs Hull, Southminster, Essex, them paind £8,600 for HW Alphonso Z884, a May 2023-born son of Rawburn Bannockburn T628 out of HW Annie V675.

Making £8,400 was another bull by Bannockburn, June 2023-born HW Ernie Z899 out of HW Evergeen V757 which sold to Messrs Crosbie, Dumfries.

 Averages - 24 bulls, £8,440.
