Springtime on the Farm has been confirmed for a brand new series celebrating the successes and challenges of lambing during one of the busiest time of the year for farmers.

Cannon Hall Farm will return for another week-long series filled on Monday (April 15) with some familiar faces including British Farming Award winners Rob and Dave Nicholson, as well as broadcasters Jules Hudson and Helen Skelton.

Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Cannon Hall Farm was first asked to be the host farm of the series after Channel 5's producers watched their popular live broadcasts on social media.

Going from strength to strength, the show, produced by Daisybeck Studios, has been a staple for viewers across the UK since broadcasting its first episode in 2018 to chart the life of farmers.

Rob Nicholson said: "We have had one of the most brilliant weeks of lambing.

"We are absolutely thrilled."

Channel 5's Springtime on the Farm will also see British farmers document their own journey through the lambing and Spring season after the show released an appeal for farms to get in touch to be part of the programme.

The new series starts at 8pm on Channel 5 from Monday April 15.
