A new television show celebrating the Great British harvest and hardworking farmers has been confirmed for the autumn which will see some very familiar South Yorkshire farmers returning to the small screen.

Channel 5 said the new show, Harvest on the Farm, will be presented by Escape to the Country's Jules Hudson and Countryfile's Helen Skelton .

Rob and David Nicholson, affectionately known as Farmer Rob and Farmer Dave from Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley, have confirmed they will appear on the programme which is due to be released next week.

The show will see the Nicholson brothers reunite with their co-hosts from Channel 5's ‘This Week on the Farm'.

However, Cannon Hall Farm said no filming took place at the popular working farm and tourist attraction, but stated there will be ‘plenty of Farmer Rob and Dave to enjoy'.

Harvest on the Farm will be shown on Channel 5 at 8pm between September 26 and September 29.
