Visitors to next week’s LAMMA Show will be able to see machinery and farm equipment in action in the event’s first ever Demo Arena.

The line-up includes tractors, bale handling equipment and fully-electric ATVs.

“It’s really exciting to be able to provide a platform for manufacturers to demonstrate new and innovative machinery at LAMMA,” said Nichola Bell, Head of Events for Agriconnect.

“Visitors will be able to see the machines in action and get insight into the latest advances in agricultural machinery direct from the experts.”

The demonstrations will run across both days of the show in the arena in Hall 18. Amongst the exhibitors taking part is McHale which will showcase its new V6760 Fully Automatic Variable Chamber Baler.

Kieran Hughes, UK Sales Manager for McHale said that user friendliness was at the forefront of the machine’s development: “The McHale V6760 is the highest spec machine in the V6 range,” he said.

“It is a fully automatic machine that is ISOBUS compatible with the option of using McHale’s ISO-PLAY 7 or ISO-PLAY 12 terminals, to allow the operator experience the highest level of customisation and machine performance.”

Seth Bradford, Sales Support Manager for Valtra UK and Ireland said: “We’re excited to showcase the all-new Q Series from Valtra at LAMMA 2023. Combined with our unlimited options, the Q series provides a solution for any customer in the 230-305hp market.”

The new Finnish built Q Series is the ideal tractor for large farms and contractors seeking performance and integrated smart technology, he added. “By combining industry-leading design, high quality components and finishing, and out-standing aftersales support, the Q Series has the power, intelligence, and versatility to maximise productivity while driving down costs.”

Krone will demonstrate its EasyWrap 150. Eleazar McKeever, Territory Sales Manager for Krone UK said: “This machine was new to the market for Krone in 2022. It is a three-point linkage mounted wrapper, with a single wrapping arm which rotates at 36 RPM.

“EasyWrap 150 can be operated in automatic, semi-automatic and manual modes depending on driver preference and working conditions.” It is capable of wrapping bales from 1 metre to 1.5 metres in height with a maximum bale weight of 1,600kg Eleazer added.

UK electric quad bike manufacturer Eco Charger will demo its 4WD acid powered ‘Pioneer’ bike. “The comprehensive range of 2WD and 4WD quad bikes offer ‘all electric’ alternatives to traditional petrol driven quads at every level of performance and endurance,” a spokesperson explained. “These robust workhorses are designed to maximise capacity, range, and torque – ready to meet any and every challenge!”

International Tractors will reveal its Solis 60 Shuttle XL. “Solis Stage V tractors are a benchmark of performance by adding power, comfort and style,” a spokesman explained. “This tractor has been designed in keeping with the usage of European farmers to support higher productivity with the utmost comfort.”
