James Richardson is the farm manager at Bishop Burton College. In his monthly blog, James will tell Farmers Guardian about helping to inspire the next generation.

Vicky Haddow, 22, is from a dairy, beef and sheep farm in Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire.

Ben Gratton, 18, is from a dairy, beef and sheep farm outside of Buxton in Derbyshire. He is currently working on a dairy and arable farm in Shropshire as part of his level 3 advanced technical extended diploma in agriculture at Reaseheath College.

Jasmine Underwood, 18, is from Bruton, Somerset, and works as a dairy farmer in Wells, Somerset.

Caryl Davies, 18, grew up on her family’s farm in Eglwyswrw, North Pembrokeshire, and is also a student at Aberystwyth University.
