Whitehope Freedom Fighter, £25,000
The sale topped at £25,000 for Whitehope Freedom Fighter, from father and son duo Norman and David Douglas, along with shepherd Matt Carryer, from Yarrow, Selkirk. Sired by Bedshiel Champion and out of a daughter of Balnakiel X 8460, Freedom Fighter sold to Messrs Elliot, Bedshiel flock, Galashiels.
John Blackhall's Brachmont flock, Banchory, Aberdeenshire, brought in £15,000 and £12,000. Dearest, when sold to Bowmont Farming, Attonburn flock, Kelso, was an unnamed son of Dalrachie Campbell, out of a dam by Dalrachie Farm Billy The Kid.

Messrs Elliot, Woodside flock, Kelso, paid £12,000gns for the Stouphill Admiral-sired Brachmont Finesse, out of a Badanloch Tip Top Tup daughter.
A trio of tups made £10,000 apiece. The first was an Auldallan ram from the Adam family, Forfar, Angus. Selling to Messrs Douglas, Selkirk, this Auchentoul Avicii son is out of a Badanloch Mr Brightside-bred ewe.
The pen leader, Whitehope Forget Me Not, from Messrs Douglas, sold to Rock Farming, Hethpool flock, Wooler Bred from a Whitehope Batman daughter, it is by the record-setting £28,000 Whitehope Dark Knight.
The third was Attonburn Ferdinand, from the Bowmont Farming team. Selling to Messrs Bridgewater and Wood, Esk flock, Langholm, it is by Badanloch Xtra Special, while its dam is by Langdale Sparky.

A brace of £9,000 rams both sold to Messrs Hepburn and Co, North House flock, Hawick. First from J.M. Elliot, Kelso, was Woodside Famous, an Attonburn Bittersweet son.
Next was Hownam Grange Fireball, by a North House X ram, from Jimmy and Willie Thomson, Kelso.
Females
In the female section, entries from Bowmont Farming led each section, with gimmers to £1,050 and £650, ewes to £400 and £350, and ewe lambs to £290.
Averages – 428 rams, £1,813.55 (+£191.73 on 2025); 1,370 ewes, £220.68 (+£33.76); 824 gimmers, £313.54 (+£78.76); 556 ewe lambs, £158.32 (+£8.85).
