Thames Valley Police has confirmed it was no longer investigating a reported theft of sheep from Jeremy Clarkson's farm, which was reported to the force on September 2.
Following enquiries, it has been established that no sheep were stolen.
Mr Clarkson reported that 11 sheep had gone missing from the farm, after discovering only 16 of his EasyCare sheep, featured in the Amazon Prime television show, remained in the field.

At the time, Mr Clarksons said there was ‘no other explanation' than theft, with no carcases present, no sheep droppings in the woods and the sheep not on neighbouring farms.
But the police have now said the report was found to be the result of an accidental miscount by farm staff, and all sheep have since been accounted for.

"As no offence has been identified, the investigation has now been closed," the police said.
