Shadow Defra Secretary Victoria Atkins said: "Labour’s decision to increase fertiliser taxes is putting our food security at risk, leaving farmers under growing financial pressure and with little support. That is why the next Conservative Government will stand firmly behind our growers, producers and rural communities by cutting the taxes holding them back by abolishing the family farm tax, the business tax, and the fertiliser tax."
