Ballynacannon ewe lamb, 22,000gns
The January-born embryo from Dannis' Ballynacannon flock, Coleraine, is by Mountford Mustang and out of a Kells Wingman-sired Loughanleagh ewe. Forking out the cash were Messrs Paterson, Huntly.
Sticking with the ewe lambs at Messrs Borthwick, Ayrshire, paid 6,000gns for the very next lot, a daughter of the 19,000gns Carony Cha-Ching from L. and M. Liggett, County Tyrone. Its home-bred dam is by the 44,000gns Ballinatone Show Stopper.
Gimmers topped at 12,000gns for the number one from Finn Christie, Inverurie, which had stood champion at the Scottish National. Sired by Castleisle Blackadder and out of a Crewelands Kingpin daughter, it was served by the 40,000gns Howgillfoot Royal Mint. It sold in a two-way split to Messrs Priestley, County Down, and Messrs Cockburn, Perth.

The first of two at 6,000gns was a Forkins Samson daughter from Jim and Jenni Cannon, Redbrae flock, Wigtown. Bred from a Limestone Legacy daughter and scanned with a pair to Cairness Crafty, it sold to Messrs Hutchinson, Kirkby Stephen, and Messrs Innes, Huntly.
Also at 6,000gns, this time selling to Messrs Bignal, Isle of Islay, was a Balquhain gimmer from Graeme Christie, Inverurie. By Rookery Mean Machine and out of a Lakeview Under the Radar daughter, it scanned a pair to Howgillfoot Royal Mint.
A Cranorskie gimmer from Craig Paterson, Aberchirder, sold to Messrs Gornall, Clitheroe, for 5,500gns. This Pyeston Highlander daughter sold carrying twins to Cairnton Crackerjack.
