Cllr Leo Hammond said: "I have also been campaigning for the council to adopt compulsory procurement targets to buy as much of the food which is served in our schools and venues as possible from our East Riding farmers, fisherman and food and drink producers. Again, this has been repeatedly opposed and has now been kicked into the long grass."
