A countryside artist, whose creations are all inspired by British farming and rural life, has created a Christmas calendar with bespoke drawings of the iconic Land Rover Defender.

Known as Doodling Lucy on Instagram, the artist behind the account, Lucy Gray, has over 18,000 followers and donates some of the proceeds each year to a farming charity.

This year, she has already made over £1,000 and hopes to reach her target of £1,500.

Lucy, who lives in the Cotswolds, said: "The calendar celebrates the iconic Defender but also supports a worthy charity, the Addington Fund. I chose to support the Addington Fund this year as it is an agricultural charity, which ties in with my core value of supporting British farmers, and provides disaster relief and houses for families in England and Wales."
