Farmers Guardian Podcast: Successful diversification - what does it take?

Diversification is a hot topic in the farming industry, as farmers and land owners look at how to add more value to their business.

With the agricultural landscape constantly changing, safeguarding your farm for the future is a lot to think about, and diversifying could be part of your plan.

But knowing where to start is not always easy, and delving into a new venture can be daunting.

In this episode Farmers Guardian speaks to Canalside Farm, Staffordshire, who have an award-winning diversification under their belt and have been doing what they do best for 40 years this month (November).

We also hear from Brian Richardson, head of agriculture at Virgin Money, about diversification trends and top tips for those wanting to test the waters.
