Government announces payment rates boost for SFI, but industry concerns remain

Farmers joining Defra’s new Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) from 2022 can expect payments 30 per cent higher than those calculated using income foregone methodology, Defra Secretary George Eustice has confirmed.
