Limousin bulls sold to a high of 17,000gns twice, averaging £7,466, up £777 on the year, for the 42 sold, with the strongest average of the day at 90 per cent

Two top bids of 20,000gns led the Aberdeen-Angus trade with 74 head sold, averaging £6,185, down £542 on the year with a clearance rate of 71 per cent

Beef Shorthorn bulls met a high of 21,000gns in the first Stirling February showcase. With 47 bulls sold and a clearance rate of 66 per cent, the trade averaged £7,491, up £1,794 on the year
