The six-model new range uses a 7.5-litre, six-cylinder AGCO Power Core 75 engine, with the option of a CVT or a newly developed in-house 10-step powershift transmission, with both offering transport speeds of up to 57km/h. The flagship T236 produces up to 245hp and a claimed 1,184Nm of torque, with a power management system automatically adjusting engine and transmission behaviour to balance performance and fuel efficiency.
The new engine claims to deliver up to 5% lower fuel consumption than the previous AGCO Power 74HD engine used in the current generation of the T Series. The range has a 2,950mm wheelbase, ground clearance of up to 575mm and a turning radius of 4.9m, combining stability with manoeuvrability for fieldwork and transport.

If the engine output, range size and overall dimensions look familiar, they are. The new T Series shares its engine, transmission and driveline assembly with the recently introduced Massey Ferguson 7S, although both machines operate with completely different cabs and control systems and include several functional options unique to each brand.
Introduced for the first time in Valtra tractors, the new SmartTouch Gen2 operator interface is offered in the T range. It is centred on a 12-inch high-resolution touchscreen, with a claimed tenfold increase in processing power over its predecessor. Operators can customise work screens, create individual profiles for different tasks and implements, and configure up to 12 buttons to suit their preferences.
An alternative Active Gen2 armrest provides a more conventional control layout with dedicated and configurable functions. Both systems synchronise with the A-pillar display to keep key operating information within the driver's line of sight. All machines are factory-ready for AGCO's PTx FarmENGAGE, allowing tasks, machine data and agronomic information to be transferred between the office and field, including across mixed-brand fleets.

For individual machine specifications, Valtra Unlimited factory customisation allows buyers to configure tractors for applications ranging from arable and livestock farming to contracting, forestry and municipal work. Orders for new machines began in October, with the new range replacing the current T Series, which was phased out earlier in the summer.
Pricing for the new machines depends on the user's specific requirements and options. The smallest, entry-spec 170hp T146 with a 10-speed powershift retails at £175,447, while the largest, full-spec 245hp T236 with a CVT gearbox retails at £235,127.
