The first at the top price was Dalrachie Eye Candy, a son of Dalrachie Campbel out of a Dunbeath ewe, from Alan and Sarah-Jane Forbes, Ballindalloch. The buyers were Messrs Campbell, Kelso.
At the same price from W. and F. Elliot, Kelso, was Hetha Express. This Clerkhill Xpress son out of a Hethpool ewe by Brackside Northern Lights, sold to Messrs Wilson and Sons, Moffat.

Bowmont Farming, Kelso, sold Attonburn Eminem by Badanloch William Wallace for £14,000. The buyers were Messrs Hepburn and Co., Hawick.

A £13,000 bid secured the first of the Auldallan pen through the ring from R.M. Adam and Son, Forfar. This Badanloch Absolut son sold to Messrs Allen, Alnwick.
Next, at £10,000, was Alticane Everest by Attonburn All Night Baby, from David and Ian Walker, Girvan. It sold to Messrs Elliot and Partners, Kelso.
In the female section the previous day, gimmers topped at £400 for a pair from Messrs Watson, Slatehouse.
The next best came from Messrs Tweedie and Co., Buchtrig, with a pen of 39 selling for £345/head.
Draft ewes topped at £345/head for a pen of 20 from W.D. Allen, Alnwick, with ewe lambs from the same home selling to £260.
