A television presenter with a 'lifelong passion' for rural life has confirmed the return of her farming series for a third series.

Kate Humble, a former Countryfile presenter who has worked on several farming shows alongside Adam Henson, said Channel 5's Escape to the Farm will be back on screens tonight (May 30) at 7pm.

The show explores Ms Humble's journey into farming after she purchased a Welsh smallholding in 2007.

In 2011, she set up ‘Humble by Nature' - a working farm in the Wye Valley - alongside her husband Ludo Graham in Monmouthshire.

Packed with piglets, sheep, cows and wildlife, she said the farm represents a 'special place in her heart', and she is determined to ensure it has a secure future.

Ms Humble said: "We are back!

"I am so excited to announce that Escape to the Farm is back on air.

"In this week's episode, I will be investigating the dark secret beneath the beautiful surface of the River Wye, scaling new heights in the hunt for ways to diversify the farm, and going on a little shopping trip.

"I cannot wait to see Farmer Tim's face when he sees what I have brought!"
