Cornwall Police warned owners to keep their dog on leads when in close proximity to livestock
A farmer has been let to ‘pick up the pieces' after a dog attack killed a sheep in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
Cornwall Police said the attack took place on Tuesday (May 30) on Bodmin Moor which resulted in the death of a sheep.
Two lambs have now been made orphans as a result of the incident.
Officers reminded members of the public to put their dogs on a lead between March 1 and July 31 when livestock is present in the area.
