#Farm24 2020...The best yet!

Farmers and foodies of the British nation came together and took social media by storm by giving people an insight into 24 hours in farming.

On August 6 farmers united in numbers as they harnessed the power of social media to showcase the vital role they play in food production and as custodians of the countryside.

Using the hashtag #Farm24 thousands of farmers posted content throughout the day, highlighting the versatility and diversity within a typical day in agriculture.

From being up at the crack of dawn for milking, to chopping late into the early hours, farmers shared their stories to get the job done and keep the nation fed.

The content produced by social media users was fantastic to see and feedback from viewers and consumers was outstandingly positive with many commenting on how they had learnt something new from activity on the day.

Due to the unprecedented amount of social media activity it was a challenge to go through it and produce a video sharing some of the highlights.

Check out our round-up below on agriculture's biggest digital event that enjoyed its most successful year in its six-year history.

This year the statistics speak for themselves...

Quadrupled reach on Facebook

9,519,000 impressions on Instagram, a record growth compared to 263,000 in 2019

And all of this is because of every single one of you that got involved. #Farm24 2020 has been an almighty success and we can not wait for 2021.
