FarmingCAN Partner AHDB

At a time of significant industry change, the role of AHDB is ever more important in equipping levy payers with independent and evidence-based information to help them make important decisions on the challenges ahead.

We're on the cusp of a new agricultural revolution, and we have a responsibility to get farmers ready for the change that's coming and help them to not only survive but thrive.

We occupy a unique space as the only large-scale, well-resourced, truly independent organisation capable of delivering to levy payers' needs.

We put people at the heart of everything we do. We encourage collaboration, be that through our workshops, our network of Strategic and Monitor Farms, providing nutritional information to educate children about where their food comes from, or developing apprenticeships for the next generation. We are the critical friend, who speaks honestly and offers support that can be relied upon.

Whether we're introducing tools to help improve profitability, advising on reducing pesticide use or developing new markets for our farmers and processors' products, we're passionate about inspiring the industry to achieve its full potential.

Partner Insight: Reduce lameness with automated mobility scoring

Lameness still costs the dairy industry over £250 million per year in treatment costs and lost production, while also impacting on cow and staff welfare.
