Farmers' Choir wins Britain's Got Talent

The Farmers' Choir have been crowned the winners of Britain's Got Talent 2026, after farmers and the public backed them in Saturday's (May 30) final.

Judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and KSI returned to their panel seats for one final night of voting and commentary.

After being crowned the winners, farmer Katryna Shell urged people to talk about mental health and said: "This is for the farmers."

The winners receive a cash prize of £250,000 and are offered the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Show.

Originally brought together by Jeremy Clarkson to promote his Hawkstone beer, the 30 strong choir made up of farmers from across the UK wowed the audience with their own original song.

Back in March, the choir got the ‘golden buzzer' treatment, putting them straight into the semi-finals.

The support of the farming community and the public saw them storm through to the finals, with prominent figures including Nigel Owens, Diddly Squat Farm Shop, New Holland Agriculture, the Royal Agricultural University, Abi Reader and Victoria Atkins getting behind the choir and wishing them luck ahead of the final.

After the semi-final, Amanda, who gave the choir her golden buzzer in the audition, said: "Farming touches every single person in this country."

Farmers Guardian's Katie Fallon caught up with the people behind the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir following their victory at last weekend's semi-final.
