The UK Truck and Tractor Pull returns to Scorton showground on May 9–10, promising a weekend of high-powered action as competitors from across Europe gather for one of the sport's most anticipated events. Gates open at 12pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday, with a packed schedule set to draw crowds of motorsport and agricultural enthusiasts alike.
Now in its fourth year at Scorton, the event continues to grow in, hosting a round of the British tractor pulling association series. This year also marks a major milestone, with two EuroCup classes, Pro Stock and Light Modified, being held at the venue for the first time.

Among the standout competitors is the Aftermath Tractor Pulling Team, led by Dan Whittingham, the reigning EuroCup champion in the Light Modified class. The team will be competing against a strong international field, with more than 20 foreign entrants expected from countries including the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark.
Dan began tractor pulling in 2016, has spent the past decade building the Aftermath team into a European force. A key moment came in 2022 with the debut of their machine, Aftermath Unleashed. After three seasons of development and competition, the tractor secured EuroCup glory a milestone Mr Whittingham describes as a proud achievement for the entire team.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated crew of five to six members continues to refine and improve the team's performance. Despite last season's success, "we're still hungry for more," Dan says.
Following an intensive winter of preparation, the team returned to competition last weekend. Even after years in the sport, Dan admits the nerves remain. "It's always a tense moment bringing the tractor to the start line and hoping everything comes together for a strong run," he explained.

The Aftermath Unleashed is powered by three V8 Chevrolet engines running on methanol, pushing out up to 3,000 horsepower. However, spectators can expect even greater power on display, with some competing tractors producing up to 12,000 horsepower at the event.
With top-level competition, international talent, and the debut of EuroCup classes at Scorton, the event is set to be a highlight of the season. Organisers and competitors alike are looking forward to welcoming spectators for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend of motorsport.
