Farmers Guardian launches 100 Women in Agriculture campaign on International Women's Day

Whether that is running a family farm, diversifying a business, or navigating policy and finance, through mentoring, peer support and networking, the initiative, which also focuses on wellbeing, aims to help women build confidence, develop leadership skills and progress their careers.

The 100 Women list will be published annually, with various networking and CPD events taking place across the UK and throughout the year.

It will culminate in the Woman of the Year Award being presented at the British Farming Awards in October.

Farmers Guardian editor, Katie Jones, said: "Our 100 Women initiative will shine a light on the leadership, innovation and resilience women bring to agriculture.

"These are remarkable women, and I hope this celebration of them will inspire the next generation and show them that they too have an important role in shaping the future of our industry."
