Amy Wilkinson - Beef and arable farmer

Amy Wilkinson farms full-time with her father, running 650-head of beef and 800 acres of arable in Lancashire. The cattle are her biggest passion, setting up her own beef box business in 2020.

She says: "I do believe it's important to have interests outside the farm and I like to build on other skills."

Since 2020 she has been writing for the 'In Your Field' Section of Farmers Guardian and she has written for FG's machinery section.

Amy is extremely passionate about educating the public about British farming through social media, but also through going into schools and working with the NFU.
