Farmers Guardian is leading the charge in raising awareness about livestock worrying and advocating for our readers' concerns. Collaborating with key farming and rural organisations, FG is ultimately aiming to reduce the number of dog attacks that cost businesses millions annually and devastate farmers. FG is lobbying the Government to tighten up legislation on livestock worrying, to increase police powers to cease, detain and destroy dogs found worrying livestock and to increase fines for owners who are prosecuted. FG, along with partners the British Veterinary Association, National Sheep Association and RSPCA, will be spreading the message through social media and national/regional press.
