Milk Link looks to export to the US

MILK Link is looking to export its successful extra mature cheddar, Tickler. The plan is to focus on the US and other English speaking countries.

In readiness for an export campaign, the brand, produced at the Taw Valley Creamery in Devon, is now being made available in a larger, 350g pack.

On the domestic market it is being sold in Waitrose and will be in Morrisons from April 26.

Milk Link says latest market data shows Tickler sales up by 56 per cent in value and 62 per cent in volume. Current pack size is 200g pack but research has indicated a market for the new larger pack.
