PATCHWORK Technology has extended the applications for its BlackBox precision farming unit with an Auto Shutoff function for fertiliser spreaders, as seen at LAMMA.
Working initially with the Bogballe controller –although Blackbox variable rate technology is compatible with all the major brands – the Auto Shutoff automatically sends a zero rate to the controller on ground already spread or on headlands.

It also adjusts spreading rates according to a variable rate application map.
Spreading records are created at the end of each job.
The function can be added to existing BlackBox Cruizer systems or specified on new models.
