Tenbury Wells store lambs
An entry of 1,890 store lambs were forward at the first seasonal monthly Tenbury sheep sale held at its new venue at Worcester Road, Tenbury Wells. Top price was £74.50 for the first prize pen of Suffolk cross Welsh Mules from Messrs Ward, Eastham, whose annual consignment of 707 Suffolk cross Welsh Mules mixed lambs averaged £61.71. The overall average for the 2,156 store lambs, breeding ewes, cull ewes and rams was £51.65.
