Strong calf trade at Cirencester
A very strong trade for calves with seven-month-old Friesian bulls sold to £330 per head at Cirencester. Best Hereford bulls sold to £272 with mediums to £190.
Hereford heifers reached £200/head. Angus bulls sold to a top of £250 averaging £144.
Three weaned Hereford heifers sold to £405 and Angus heifers to £380. Simmental bulls sold to £345 and heifers to £280.
Limousins bulls topped at £330 and British Blues at £385.
