Perth Bulls: Champion Shorthorn female sells at 4,000gns
THE beef shorthorn female champion sold for the day’s top price of 4,000gns.
The May 2010-born roan heifer Lowther Capri 272, by LS Artic out of LS Capri 179, from Charles Lowther, Penrith, sold in-calf to J. and C. Haigh, Market Rasen, Lincolnshire.
The next best price was achieved by the reserve champion, the August 2010-born heifer, Crighton Ballerina, by Crighton Flyer out of Dunsyre Ballerina, from B. Walling, Selkirk, which sold at of 2,500gns to Kincraigie Farms, By Banchory, Aberdeenshire.
At 2,400gns was Rosewood Rachel 5 of Skaillhouse, by Bon-Accord Alpha out of Rosewood Rachel of Skaillhouse, from C. Macadie and Sons, Caithness.
