Bryncir breeding ewes

The opening sale of breeding ewes saw and entry of 2,486 realised an overall average of £113.02 per head at Bryncir Mart.

Prices peaked at £141 for a pen of Texel cross Mule yearlings from E.A. Davies and Co, Llangernyw, Abergele.

A pen of Suffolk Mules sold at £140 for R.J. Williams, Llangwnadl, Pwllheli.

Demand for Suffolk Mules was strong resulting in an overall average of £126.94 with a consignment of 434 from R.J. Williams averaging £136.60.
