Shear quality in entrants from home and abroad
SOME of the world’s leading sheep shearers will be at NSA Sheep 2010 taking part in a series of competitions.
The open sheep shearing competition will feature a team of top UK shearers as well as entrants from overseas.
The event will also host the English Shearer of the Year with more than £3,000 at stake and features an open section for shearers who have already competed in a minimum of six qualifying events this season, while the senior, intermediate and junior sections are for shearers who have attended at least three shows.
The winners of each section will be awarded shearing equipment worth a total of £2,100, while each finalist will receive prize money totalling £1,000.
