Courses on pesticide use
Lantra Awards, will be showcasing its wide portfolio of pesticides courses. Alan Knight, lead technical standards verifier will be demonstrating best practice for a range of pesticide techniques,
including handling, application and storage pesticides. Demonstrations will take place on Wednesday at 10.30am, 2.30pm and 4pm, and on Thursday at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm.
Accommodation at Cereals
The villagers of Chrishall and the surrounding area have come up with a scheme to welcome people to Cereals. About ten villagers across the parishes are offering accommodation.
“Because of our proximity to the show site and the comparative lack of hotels and guest houses in the district, we think this scheme may prove attractive, as well as helping our local churches. All houses are located within seven miles of the showground,” says Chrishall churchwarden, Marcus West. For more information visit www.cerealsaccommodation.co.uk
Competition
Visitors to Brown & Co’s stand at Cereals (B436) have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a Renewable Energy Audit and a bottle of champagne.
“Businesses are looking at renewable energy options for a variety of reasons, not just to help reduce energy bills, but to help diversify income streams and appraise investment opportunities following the recent launch of the Feed in Tariffs (FIT) initiative,” says Brown & Co partner Simon Mountjoy.
