THE winning herd in this year’s Welsh Simmental Club herd competitions was the Chestermann herd of Nick and Nadia Gwynne, Rhosddu, Pembrokeshire.Established in 1993, numbers now exceed 200, including 75 breeding cows. Judging was in the hands of Jimmy McMillan, of the Brandane herd, Cheltenham.
