Sands’ new Vision sprayer
SRAYER manufacturer Sands used LAMMA to launch its new range of self-propelled 'Vision' sprayers.
In a radical change, the sprayer has a completely new modern and curvy cab, offering much better all-round visibility for operators and uprated standard features.

While the sprayer keeps a similar floor pan to previous models, the new Vision range has a completely redesigned interior, and also provides a much quieter working environment.
The more comfortable interior features a high back air seat with adjustable lumbar support and a new ergonomic armrest panel featuring all controls for spraying and driving.
In-cab air inlets have been repositioned to achieve a more constant in-cab temperature and less misting of glass. The roof panel houses the climate control, CD radio with ipod compatibility, work light switches and hands-free phone connection.

Externally, the curvier cab has high intensity headlights and work lights, with access to the cab provided via Sands’ sliding door. A sealed opening at the back of the cab allows extra looms for de-mount spreader kits and variable rate systems to be easily fitted.
The sprayer is also built ready for GPS guidance, auto steering and auto shut-off systems.
A larger two stage lift ram means maximum nozzle clearance is now 2.5m, while it can still operate at a minimum height of 0.65m for early season work.
The load sensed hydraulic system has been improved which means fewer hoses and fittings, while the 'prime and purge' boom recirculation system has also been uprated.
Higher pressures can now be used to prime the boom before spraying and when rinsing the boom after work.
