Royal Welsh Show preview: Countryside Care area
THE Royal Welsh Countryside Care area will focus on the wealth of information available on the environment, recreation, heritage, organic food production and a wide range of interests for farmers, the general public and children.
With the UK this year celebrating 60 years of nature conservation and access to the countryside, visitors are being urged to see the area which has become increasingly important as it brings together various organisations to present a coherent and balanced view of the environmental issues and policies involved in achieving a sustainable future.
A total of 24 stands will be located within the area - several of which will be providing advice to farmers and consumers covering environmental management, conservation and wildlife, organic food and farming and best practice techniques in various aspects of land management.
