The application window for a Nuffield Farming Scholarship is now open.
No academic qualifications are required to receive a Nuffield Scholarship and you are eligible for a UK Nuffield Farming Scholarship if you are:
- A UK resident aged between 22 and 45 years old
- Working in farming, rural land-based industry, or the food industry as an owner, manager or employee
- Engaged for at least two years in the industry and intend to remain involved
Those interested in applying are asked to set out their proposal for study in a simple application form, which can be downloaded from www.nuffieldscholar.org
The closing date for applications is Sunday, November 15, 2009.
Prospective scholars can contact the director of the Trust, John Stones, if they wish to discuss their application informally.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview held in London during the following January.
