Renault’s Sport Tourer lives up to its name

Dacia Duster to adorn UK shores
A new diesel 4x4 for less than €15,000 (£13,500) is possible, says Dacia owner Renault, which plans to bring right-hand drive versions of the Dacia Duster 4x4 to UK shores. Built in Romania, the Duster’s ground clearance is more than 200m. Power comes from Renault 85hp and 105hp dCi engines, four-wheel drive management is Nissan-sourced and ABS brakes are from Bosch.
VW Amarok pick-up in UK from September
VW’s new Amarok pick-up truck will not hit UK van centres until September 2010, but there are plenty of specifications to drool over.
Skoda Superb estate
SKODA’s largest car, the Superb, is now available as an estate. Measuring 4838mm long, 1,817mm wide and 1,510mm high, it offers a load volume of up to 1,865 litres reducing to 633 litres with the rear seats up.
Spec changes for Citroen C5
CITROEN has announced specification changes for its C5 range, including a new 2.0HDi 160hp diesel engine which replaces 2.0HDi 16V 140hp and 2.2HDi 173hp engines.Developing 340Nm of torque and producing less CO2 emissions, says the firm, it also brings the choice of six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearboxes.There is also an integrated Bluetooth system with USB Box media player on Exclusive-spec models.
Renault joins the crossover 4x4 market with Koleos
KOLEOS, Renault’s first attempt at a 4x4 crossover vehicle, is the result of the French maker’s alliance with Nissan, which gives it access to a platform already developed for Nissan’s X-Trail.
