Fall in zoonotic infections in Europe
LATEST statistics show the number of humans affected by zoonotic infections (diseases transmitted from animals) fell across Europe between 2007 and 2008.
The two most frequently reported remain campylobacteriosis (190,566 cases, down from 200,507 in 2007) and salmonella (131,468, down from 151,998).

I’m fed up with talking about the weather, but I can console myself with the fact we have grabbed every opportunity so far and progress is not too bad.
